Are you ready for the 16th Minute? This Sunday Galway are back in Croke Park where they will take on Kilkenny in the All Ireland Final replay. The Galway Hurling Supporters Club (GHSC) is asking every Galway fan in Croke Park to don the Maroon and White and become Galway's 16th Man! The 16th Man will take full flight on the 16th minute of the 1st and 2nd half when a 16th Man banner will rise in Hill 16, this will be the cue for Galway fans to start singing ‘The Fields Of Athenry'. Galway's Conor Hayes to round off another season of Legends Tours The hugely popular GAA Museum Legends Tour Series draws to a close for 2012 as former Galway captain, Conor Hayes, leads a tour of Croke Park Stadium on the eve of the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Championship replay. Craughwell GAA Juvenile Committee organized an U-7/U-8 Hurling Tournament in the clubs training ground yesterday, Sunday the 23rd of September. This years pairing for the PIER HEAD Minor A Hurling Championship was finalised this weekend as both Tommie Larkins and Turloughmore came through two bruising semi-finals to book a date with each other in this 2012 county final.5 times winners Turloughmore (most recent 2007) and 1 time winners Tommie Larkins (in 2006) both scored the same 1-16 each as they disposed of the tough challenges of Athenry and Loughrea respectively. Westmeath's James McGrath has been confirmed as the referee for the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship final replay between Galway and Kilkenny on September 30.
