Senior Hurling League update   13/11/2012

The Senior Hurling League 2012 made a return last weekend when there was two quarter-finals fixed.

In the first, Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry bounced back from their Senior Shield sem-final defeat to Craughwell in the best possible way, as they scored a good win over Turloughmore, who had impressed so much this year.

In the second quarter-final, Mullagh received the win after Beagh conceded.

This weekend sees a play-off in Group D as Kinvara and Gort both finished on level points. They will play on Saturday afternnon to see who joins Tommy Larkins out of their group. The winner of that match will face a tough quarter-final against Loughrea, who as we all know, are competing for County honours this coming Sunday.

The fourth quarter-final has yet to be fixed, but will however see a South East Galway battle as Portumna and Tommy Larkins meet.
