What can we say. This match took off like a rocket with twelve minutes remaining. At that stage Turloughmore were 8 points up. The rest, as they say, is history. This young Turloughmore side will learn a hard lesson from this, but had no answer for Tommy Larkins once they scored their second goal. Probably the most exciting 15 minutes of hurling witnessed at any sport all year!

Galway West was ablaze with bonfires as the young men from Moycullen put in a great performance to defeat Sarsfields.

Gullane's Hotel Junior C Hurling FINAL!!!
This was a humdinger of a match, and as expected went right down to the wire. In the end, the extra experience of Athenry gave them the edge and a great victory.

Intermediate Shield FINAL!!!
Meelick-Eyrecourt's Intermediates take some silverware from their season, as their two goals prove the difference against the ever-battling Ballindereen side.

Senior Hurling Shield semi-final
An underperforming Kinvara let Sarsfields off the hook, as the economical winners now face Craughwell in the Shield Final.

This quarter-final rematch gave Castlegar the victory this time, as another tight match was played between these two great rivals.

This was a match where scores were hard to come by, but both Sarsfields and Killimor will aim to improve for the replay.
