The Halloween Bank Holiday weekend did not fail to entertain, although the weather yesterday did do its best to try and dampen things. One final was played and the JUNIOR 1 honours go to Skehana. Up Skehana!
Main other headline is Loughrea through to County Cup final, while Gort and St. Thomas must do it all again. It was scary stuff alright!

Salthill Hotel Senior Hurling semi-finals
Champions Gort secure injury time equaliser to bring match to a replay (next Sunday). Loughrea's experience carry them into county final as they beat Turloughmore.

Intermediate Shield quarter-final
Clarinbridge set up a date with Meelick-Eyrecourt in the Shield semi-final with an impressive win over Abbeyknockmoy. Remember, Ballindereen await the winners in the final.

Senior Hurling Shield semi-finals
Craughwell prove too good for TAD and make this years Senior Shield final. The other semi-final was not played due to bereavement in Sarsfields club.

Junior 1 Hurling Final
Skehana make amends for last years final defeat to clinch a great win for the club and have them represent Galway in the Connacht Junior Hurling Chmpionship. 
Skehana 2-17 beat Michael Breathnach 1-16....after extra time

Galway west side Barna-Furbo claim the narrowest of wins against a determined Sylane side.

Gullane's Hotel Junior B Hurling Championship quarter-finals
City side Salthill-Knocknacarra advance to the Junior B semi's thanks to this hard earned win over Oranmore-Maree. Also heading to the semis are Ardahan who had a one goal win over Cappy.

Gullane's Hotel Junior C Hurling Championship semi-finals
The game of the weekend! This classic between two local rivals proved a non-stop pulsating battle with the Meelick lads just edging out their neighbours. Athenry now up next for Meelick in the final.

Gullane's Hotel Junior C1 Hurling Championship quarter-finals
Ballinasloe score impressively to beat Ballygar, as we had another draw, this time between Sylane and Moycullen. Those two sides played another cracker that had all spectators on the edge of their seats up to the final whisle.
