Mullagh and Loughrea meet again in replay on Sunday   19/10/2012

The only SALTHILL HOTEL Senior Hurling fixture this weekend takes place on Sunday when Mullagh and Loughrea face each other again after last weeks draw on a scoreline of Mullagh 1-13 to Loughrea's 0-16.

Last Saturday's draw was a match that Mullagh will feel they let slip after being ahead by 1-13 to 0-12 with only 5 minutes left to play,
Mullagh were previously ahead by 1-10 to 0-8 after 10 mins in the second half, but Loughrea pulled back, only for Mullagh to pull those 4 points clear again with only 5 minutes remaining. But such is the manner of Loughrea that they will battle til the end, and they were rewarded for their efforts with Johnny O'Loughlin's late equaliser.

One will hope for a more open match this time around as both sides cannot afford to sit back and strike on the counter, such is the talent between the two teams.

For the loser it will no doubt be bitter disappointment. For the victors it wont be getting any easier as Turloughmore are awaiting in the semi-finals, after their superb win over favurites Portumna in their quarter-final.

Quarter-final Replay
Sunday 21st October in Kenny Park at 4:00pm

Note: The Senior Hurling Relegation match between Ardrahan and Clarinbridge will be the pre-match entertainment and what a prospect that holds. That match throws in beforehand at 2:30pm in Kenny Park on Sunday 21st.
