Ardrahan and Clarinbridge clash in Senior Relegation   16/10/2012

Carnmore kept their senior status survival hopes alive last weekend with a narrow one point win over the already safe Kiltormer.
That win by 0-14 to 1-10 takes Carnmore off the foot of the table but still deep in the relegation zone, alongside Liam Mellows, Ardrahan and Clarinbridge.

In summary, we started with five teams.......Kiltormer are home safe and sound.......while other four sides can all still be relegated.

This weekend see the meeting of Clarinbridge and Ardrahan in Kenny Park on Sunday. The bottom line in this fixture is that a win for either side will see them safe, while the loser will be in a must win scenario in the final round. This match should be a full bodied encounter, especially when you have two neighbouring clubs, not only with the carrot to secure senior status, but also to keep their opponents deep in trouble!

Either way, we will have a massive final round of matches in Round 5 where three sides will be fighting for their lives.

Note: the match on Sunday in Kenny Park at 2:30pm between Clarinbridge and Ardrahan is the first part of an attractive double header, as it is being followed at 4pm by the Loughrea v Mullagh senior replay.
